Petroleum and Refinery Safety Training (PARST)

This 20 hours training will provide an in-depth review of specific tasks performed by heavy, support and specialty craft services in a petroleum / refinery environment.  Instructions will cover typical hazards including hot work, fall protection, electrical safety and the use of job hazard analysis procedures.  A focus will be placed on using Human Performance (behavior-based techniques) to discuss and assess the potential hazards that may exist when multiple crafts are working in close proximity
