Acoustical installers work primarily with ceiling systems that they install in commercial buildings for sound control. Acoustical installers hang the ceiling systems with wires from the interior ceilings to fit into a metal grid system.

For me the best thing is the ability to learn in the classroom and get hands-on training in the shop. The apprenticeship program gave me the ability to do my job better and more effectively than others who haven't received the same training.
